Please give us a call if you are planning a trip outside your regular area. We employ sophisticated fraud security on your Credit and Debit cards. Unusual activity outside your regular area may cause your card to be blocked from usage. Simply call GFCU when you schedule a trip and we can create a Travel Notification in advance so your card will not be blocked while you are out of town. Travel Notifications can be used for anytime you travel out of your regular area such as vacations, business trips, going to college, and more. When requesting a Travel Notification for your card we will need your card type, number, contact information while traveling, travel dates, and destination. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us prevent fraud.
If you are traveling out of your regular area and your Credit or Debit card transactions are denied, you will need to contact VISA or MasterCard to have the fraud block removed from the card. The numbers for the Fraud Prevention & Monitoring service are:
