You may ask; why is it that on Friday's everyone is wearing jeans?!

We have the privilege of being able to wear jeans for a donation of $3.00 a week.

All of our monies collected from June 11-September 3 will be donated

to Chow for Children.

Chow for Children is a local non-profit organization that provides 2 weekend meals

of Lunch and Dinner to Head Start Families in Sayre, Athens, East Smithfield and Milan.

We will be accepting donations of Non-Perishable food items from membership and staff

that will be donated at the same time with our monetary donation at the end of

our Jean Day Friday promotion.

Chow for Children currently feeds approximately 50 families every weekend,

but would like to be able to do more.

"I received a call from GFCU, (that is what the caller id said). It was a strange recorded message. It stated my debit card had been closed and I needed to enter my pin and account number into the phone key pad. I wasn't sure what to do, so I hung up"

THIS IS A SCAM...Guthrie FCU will NEVER call and ask for your pin number or account number. Also, if there were a problem with your debit or credit card, you would receive a call from a member of our staff, not a recorded message.
